CrossFit 101
CrossFit 585 has recently added a new ramp-up class for those interested in trying CrossFit. Read on to learn more… CrossFit 101 is a slower paced introduction to CrossFit. CrossFit 101 consists of 10 sessions with classes two times a week across five weeks. The content in these sessions are progressive so your commitment to making all of them is important. It is in these classes that you will learn how to safely and effectively do the movements that are core to the CrossFit program. Each session lasts one hour and will consist of a warm-up, specific strength, body weight, and gymnastic movement instruction and practice. Each class ends with a CrossFit Work Out (WOD) that incorporates the various skills you’ve learned.
Lastly, CrossFit 101 affords you the opportunity to learn more about what we do AND for us to learn more about your fitness goals and experiences. These class sizes are limited to no more than 12 so that we can give you the attention you deserve! Please make sure that you reserve your spot on-line so that you don’t get closed out.
